Mayor’s Civic Service

The Mayor of Penmaenmawr Town Council, Cllr Steven Consterdine, hosted a Civic Service at St Gwynan’s Church in Dwygyfylchi on Sunday the 29th October.

The service was a chance for councillors and local residents to come together so that they could recognise the important role the council and local volunteer groups play in providing services for the people of Penmaenmawr.

The theme of the service was Community with the Mayor saying “It’s important that we come together to have the chance to celebrate the strength of our community solidarity and reaffirm our commitment to our community. Working together in our rich diversity- sharing our skills, interests and experience – at this time of economic, social and climate crisis is even more important than ever and the people of Penmaenmawr Ward play their part.”

After the service guests went to Noddfa to enjoy an afternoon tea and some good conversation.

Next years’ service will be held during the summer and will be advertised on the Town Council Website.
