Council Meetings are usually held in Penmaenmawr Community Centre on Monday evenings starting at 7pm.
There are 4 ‘standing’ Committees that have delegated authority to deal with specific aspects of Council business.
At the Full Council meeting held on 25th September 2023, it was agreed to suspend the meeting schedule to allow the Committees time for planning and organising upcoming events, such as Remembrance and the Christmas Festival.
Changes to the meeting schedule may be made at the discretion of the Chair, any such changes will be highlighted on the Council’s website.
Agendas, Minutes and some reports are published on the website. Agendas are also displayed on notice boards around Penmaenmawr and Dwygyfylchi.
A summary of the decisions made at any of the Council meetings is available on the website within 7 days of the meeting.
The public are most welcome to attend any of the meetings of the Council, in person or remotely, unless there are confidential items being discussed. Members of the public can also request to speak at any of the meetings where they have an interest in an agenda item. Applications to speak must have been received by the Town Clerk no later than 5pm on the last working day preceding the meeting.
To attend a meeting remotely or for more information, please call 01492 623221 or email admin@penmaenmawr.org
