Penmaenmawr Town Council’s vision is to work in partnership to create a place that is great to work, live or visit. To do this the Council will focus its activity on the economic, social and environmental well being of our communities and residents.
The council will support activity that helps the town’s economy sustain itself and hopefully grow stronger and become vibrant with a diverse range of shops and employment opportunities for our residents. We will support the promotion of the local shops through our social media outlets and website. We will provide small grants to community groups and local volunteer groups, for more information please see our Grants webpage .
The council will continue to promote environmental improvements in the town through the employment of our Civic Pride Wardens, as well as funding environmental improvements directly including painting of railings, maintenance of planters and working with other Councils to ensure regular grass cutting and maintenance of rights of way. In addition we will continue to work with volunteer groups to develop our open spaces and make our town look great.
The council will continue to work with local volunteer groups who provide important support to our residents, as well as supporting those volunteer groups that promote healthy living and resilience for our residents. We will act as a catalyst for strategic community wide activities and promote and support other groups providing assistance to members of the community.
