Town Mayor & Deputy 2023 -2024

Councillor Steven Consterdine was announced as the new Town Mayor at the Council AGM meeting last night held at Penmaenmawr Community Centre.

Steven said:

“It is with a sense of Pride and honour that I accept this office in such an important and historical building, which this year is celebrating its Centenary year.

Growing up here as a small boy, I can honestly say I did not think I would one day be Mayor. But I am proud to serve such an amazing community, which time and again proves what it means to be a resident here. 100 years ago, a community came together to build this magnificent building, and more recently came together to build The Penmaenmawr Phoenix Football Club, proving that Community is very much still in the hearts of our residents.

So, it is with that sense of community that I intend to lead this council on behalf of its residents. I would like to Thank our outgoing Mayor Cllr C Williams for the hard work and determination that was shown in what can only be described as a very difficult year, in which he held our Council together ensuring that we could indeed continue to support our community”.

Cllr Sarah Williams was elected as the Deputy Mayor.
